Last April 15, the first-ever Dragon’s Flight Fun Run was held at the UA&P Open Grounds in Pearl Drive. Spearheaded by the University Student Government (USG) of UA&P, the fun run is part of a series of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of the University. Students, faculty, staff, parents, and guests participated in three racing categories: 3K, 5K, and 10K. A Zumba session kicked off the program at 5:00 am. After 30 minutes, the races commenced.
All of the participants managed to finish the race. Each of them received a finisher shirt and other prizes from the participating sponsors and concessionaires. What was really interesting was the participation of children in the 500m Dash. Those who stayed to see these children in action cheered them on. Even the school mascot, Uappy, motivated them to finish the race by participating also in that race.
After all the races were finished, several activities followed, which included a raffle giveaways, another Zumba session, and the Dragon’s Futsal Fiesta 2018 organized by the Men’s Futsal Team.
