UA&P Fair 2026
Allure returns for its second annual year-end celebration
The University Student Government, in collaboration with the UA&P Project Management Team, recently hosted UA&P Fair 2026: Allure - Hues of You on May 6, 7, and 9. Headed by students Diego Raymundo, Jamila Maniago, Ysabelle Estrada, Kathleen Toribio, and Sara Del Fonso, the 3-day event marked the fair’s second year as an annual celebration, serving as the culminating activity of the academic year.
Boasting an estimated 600 attendees, the fair opened its doors to both UA&P students and visitors, who were greeted by the wide selection of concessionaires in the CAS Garden and the University Student Commons. These vendors ranged from external clothing and food stalls to booths hosted by the university’s organizations, featuring a variety of interactive festivities such as henna tattoos by Communitas and a mini fashion exhibit prepared by Fuega.
The fair opened on May 6 with a program featuring performances from the Project Management Team, Squadra, and the University Student Government. The fair’s second day, on May 7, showcased a newly added segment—the variety show, where Squadra, Reverb Music Productions, Wildfire UA&P Drumline, and the University’s housekeeping staff performed. The fair closed on the third day with Reverb Music Production’s KALEIDOSCOPE: A Music Fest of Colors on May 9, as the art student interest group’s final and biggest concert of the year.
KALEIDOSCOPE: A Music Fest of Colors, headed by students Philip San Pedro, Emile Repalda, and Carmela Montejo, showcased a spectrum of music genres and styles across 20 sets. Inspired by the “riff-offs” from the film Pitch Perfect (2012), a wheel was spun to determine which genre the performers would highlight next. The format brought the “Music Fest of Colors” theme to life, immersing the audience in a vivid live music experience.
Generating further excitement, Reverb invited guest performers, namely Nameless Kids and ALYSON, to perform live at UA&P. Philip San Pedro, one of the event’s project heads, enthusiastically stated that “the crowd’s energy, the performances, and our guest performers made the whole experience feel surreal.”
The success of UA&P Fair: Allure - Hues of You was evident in its display of the university’s vibrant community. From the assorted student-led booths to the electric performances by the student body, the 3-day celebration successfully captured the “hues” of UA&P, providing a colorful conclusion to the 2025-2026 academic year.
